So, I finished April the same day I submitted March [March 27th] and now it's April /o/ Which also marks 3 years on dA for me! Well, not on this account XD But I was in dA under ~MarthMastaFemale.
As much as I want to do an anniversary pic like for my 2nd one last April, I cannot because of the conditions I'm currently in..I may be unable to draw and stuff for a few days with the issues I'm trying to break from at the moment.

Anywhow, April Showers Monyahre. XD Yeah, since March [Middle name is ' Patrick' because of that character of mine I crossed him with, but also coincides with St Patrick's X3;;] I thought of a last name for them .w.;; Monyahre is a fusion of 'Month' and 'Jahre', german for 'Year'. I spelt it Yahre so you say it properly since some'd probably pronounce it as 'Jarrer' XDDDD.
The rainbow-coloured thing by either arm is a RainBow and arrow, just some random concept I had in mind, because of the whole April Showers thing, and it's getting a lot sunnier these days. So...rainbow tiem OTL;; She shoots rainbow arrows with her bow that leave a seven-coloured trail as they arc through the air X3 Maybe she's encountered Arcenciel Dragons a few times because of her rainbow-creating weapon. As Arcenciels appear around rainbows or create them themselves when they fly around.
She's the first month persona that I thought about and also fully cg-ed outside their actual month O_o I always wanted to colour her in a pale blue and yellow, probably to represent the sunshine and the rain X3 and she has little raindrops in her design. She's meant to have hair ornaments that attach to her tiara/headband, which for some reason I didn't include...also her hair is tied at the back, not on the side, as her hair is looped like a figure eight shape and the remainder tied at the middle of that. To be wierd. XD

Half decent background wtf...I wanted some kind of distant background, or maybe it's misty. I suck drawing trees. It looked horrendous without the texture over that bg lol;;

Ah Spring 8U and on the first day too xD. Lulz April fools day. Would this make her a bit of a trickster? xDDD

I like her outfit, maybe it's because of all the blues. It also reminds me of someones I'm not sure who's...hmm. Either way it looks nifty : D.
More blue and duo tone hair 8D. And tiara xD. I like that colour combo too, orz I think I like almost any colour paired with blue |D.

Spring showers yar and the little tear drop marks that tie in nicely with it. I like yer rain with the slight, what looks like glowyness in it. Mystical rain wheee xD.

RainBow 8D puns FTW xD. That's psychodelic baby :U the bow and arrow, and to top it off it reminds me of a kaleidoscope or a bubble. I think you did good work with this rainbowy mishmash c8 it's bright and colourful just..well like a rainbow XD and its glowy 8D

Once again I like your little hidden meanings to things you've added to the piece : D

Ar and nice work on the background too, it's got a pretty watercolour look to it.

Mm, feels like spring already passed XD though it hasn't, but it's really sunny and tiring out there o; Hmm, makes me wonder XD If she's responsible for this stuff going on with beta testers I keell! XD

Yep XD My sis and I were talking about hair colouring a day or two before and it sort of influenced XD the underneath of her hair is blue and the outside is blonde OTL XD and same, blue has me u';< And black of course, which pretty much goes with everything anyway XD

Yeah, I was stuck with markings so she gets the raindrop brush that I made for my rain before and used for rain here XD And the rain got set to colour dodge, sunshine and stuff..I think OTL

Hell yes XD I like to make puns a lot D: Haha, took me a while to get the bubble thing until I got to this replying, but yeah they go all trippy-coloured when you look at them XD Lmao I did the bow and I was like...'needs an arrow' and then I forgot how I coloured the bow XD seems close enough anyway. Rainbowzz.

I like to think about things a lot e_e like my improving, but I guess it makes a piece better for now when I add stories and meanings in them, while I practice perspective [also with head angling YES I DRAW MONOTONOUS HEAD ANGLE D< OTLLLL srsly man, fuck]

Thanks, I guess it does look watercoloury, all on the effects with brush opacity and colours and stuff 'twould seem o;

xD oh yeah, its like Summer hasnt truly left here yet. It was about 30 degrees today o_o. Oooh good point, April ya crafty girl, she's in yer DA messin with yer symbols 8U.

Oh yar? lulz. I havent drawn on the train for a bit U: always in class orz XDDD. But it keeps me awake XD.

Rain brush kewlz, I keep forgetting you can make brushes |D;;. Practical /o/ tattoos and then actual rain \o\

It does, it adds..a certain depth to them. It's a good thing to do, more interesting FTW. XDDDD I noticed that, but then again I'm just as bad by using the same expressions over and over |D

No probs u: oh yeah? I think I can get the same on SAI, dunno why, there's something different to when I do the same in SAI to Photoshop, must be different programness.

xDD and thus, that means the same for me soon too 8o.

I'm usually scared away from commenting on your artwork as you always seem to have long and intellectual comments, ha-ha! >w<

Anyway, I just wanted to say that your colouring is consistently fantastic! You really have a knack at choosing the right colours to create artwork that feels really atmospheric and dramatic. Great work!

I really liked her hair style and colors ^^...is that a strand of gold hair or a hair accessory detail ( next to her blue spiked hair ) ?

I like the ideas you came with for your month personas...like the rainBow! x D it is nice how you mixed those two things...and the name is perfect

The bg looks fine to me....the way you did it makes me think of a rainy day or of a misty day ^^ maybe the effects you used there gave this feeling o-O

She's just as pretty as her sisters.. I seriously can't choose a fave now..:heart: I can't wait to see more of them, how you stay creative with all your ideas..? I have no clue..

You've got some really great colours on her, I've only used the blonde and blue hairstyle once on one of my characters that isn't shown here. :heart: I love how you did her eyelashes as well. The bow and arrows look very well done~

Her outfit really stands out too, with all the lovely blues to them. Gotta love that colour..:heart: This is another fave from me, and I hope you keep up to good work~:heart:

Thanks, yeah, there is some mist in the bg and the trees are blended into the bg a bit >w< Plus the rain in the whole picture too ^^
